Posting Guidelines

You'll need a Google Wave account to view and participate in these waves. Check this link for more information on how to use Google Wave.

You'll also need to

  • sign up at the Artistic Waves Group and
  • add artisticwaves@googlegroups.com to your contact list in Google Wave

To find waves on specific topics, just browse through the links in the menu on your left.

To create a new wave, follow these steps:

  • Click on New Wave and artisticwaves@googlegroups.com to the wave. Here's a video on how to add contacts:

Alternatively, try using the ArtisticWaves Extension in the Getting Started section. Here's a video on how to use the extension:

  • Next, add a tag to describe the medium/topic of the wave. For example, if you are posting a watercolor painting, add the tag as 'Watercolors'. If you've used mixed media, add multiple tags. This will help us list your waves under the right category. Here's a video on how to tag your waves:

    • Pen and Ink
    • Pastels
    • Oils
    • Oil Pastels
    • Acrylics
  • Please stick to the topic and don't post any spam messages. Anyone caught spamming will be removed from the group and won't have access to the waves.
